About
Addie Eliades
Bio: Addie is a 2017 graduate of the University of Virginia (UVA) with a B.A. in English and 2017 recipient of UVA's Rachel St. Paul Poetry Prize. In 2019, she will be a Fulbright Student Fellow teaching English and leading a creative writing workshop in Brazil. She was an assistant teacher of poetry and a camp counselor for the summers of 2016 and 2017 at the UVA Young Writers’ Workshop. This year of 2018, she took time away from institutional education and danced as a semi-pro cheerleader for a local arena football team, worked a handful of various odd jobs in customer service and childcare, toyed with hobbies old and new, and realized how much she loves and misses institutional education.
Sooo…First I see you on Facebook and added you because I thought you were the most beautiful woman God has created. I said to myself, “she is way out of my league, there’s no way!”
I see you in bumble. 🤔 “She’s actually looking for someone to make her smile every day? Eh she’s still out of my league.”
So for a day or two I wonder…and wonder. I’ve come to the conclusion that………………you’re still out of my league.🤣
Plus side is I like poetry and E.E.Cummings is my favorite.
